Quite simply put, SinkFix® Original is a fixing plate for wall hung wash basins that can be used on a plasterboard or a solid wall.
Wash basins can be combined with a semi or full pedestal or simply by themselves defying gravity!
Standard sanitary fixings are great if you have a perfect solid wall, however, if the wall is plasterboard or if the brickwork/mortar is poor quality/crumbly it can be very difficult to obtain a good fixing especially when having to drill a rather large 14mm hole for the wall plug! and getting the two bolts perfectly aligned horizontally can be tricky.
SinkFix® does away with all these problems having multiple fixing points. Using smaller but more fixings you are able to fix on solid points of your wall and in the case of plasterboard much more likely to find the stud (which we recommend on all plasterboard installations). SinkFix® has been specially designed for ease of installation by both the DIY’er and the professional, it is full adjustable and its load bearing design ensures that even the heaviest sink or basin will be supported. As wall hung basins can be upwards of 30Kgs this is crucial.
The Special SinkFix® bolts adjust from side to side to 300mm apart ensuring that most wash basin fixing mouldings are accounted for. The SinkFix® nylon eccentric ‘wing’ bushings are unique, allowing for easy installation and wash basin left and right height adjustments.

Perfect for the job. Moving sink onto a cinder block wall so plugs and screws were out of the question. Found this on web site clicked and collected. Fitted in around an hour. Comes with instructions and tips to install. Excellent quality and very sturdy. Purchased this as wanted to ensure a sturdy fixing on a stud partition wall and impressed with the product. My installation needed the longer bolts (they can be obtained directly if you need them) and overall I would say:

Every so often you stumble across a product that just blows you away in terms of performance and the solution it provides to a challenging problem.
This wash basin fixing kit by Rawplug is an exceptional piece of engineering combining simplicity, ease of use, weight and force distribution with all the features you need to get the job done.
I recently replaced the wash basin in my cloakroom because the original installation was quite simply shambolic. The sink was in effect resting on the copper pipes having slowly come away from the wall over time, leaving badly damaged plaster.
I tried fitting a pedestal to support the sink but the cloakroom is rather small and did not leave enough room for one to use the room comfortably. A cabinet mounted sink, however small. presented the same problem.
Almost out of ideas, I did a search for sink mounting kits and came across this product… WOW!
In a nutshell, this is what I will be using for all future installations. A professional looking rock solid fixing! Additionally, the small gap the backplate forces between the sink and the wall was perfect for getting my tiles to fit with a good seal finishing off the job.

Gets you out of a fix.
Brilliant piece of design for those weaker walls or drywall where you can’t get a fixing where you need it.
All the holes are countersunk so the screws don’t protrude. A little pricey but worth it.
